What can be said is that, in many ways, MyHouse rewards the perpetuallyonline. It hits upon all the great touchstones of internet horror, from more recent liminal-space-horror like the backrooms, to the great, early 2000’s hipster college roommate bible House Of Leaves. But by the end, MyHouse’s horror is of its own — a terrifying, personal horror that culminates in one of the great action-horror climaxes in any game. And it does it by reimagining a touchstone in gaming.

This largely featureless gray house is suspended in the middle of a dark liminal apartment complex, and going through certain doorways will change the size of the areas between regular-sized, and large. Most doorways simply look like solid walls, but pressing use on them from the correct side will lower them permanently, allowing for easier navigation through this space.

This post is even more spoilery than the previous one. My suggestion is, don't read my previous post until you've played through once, and don't read this one until you've played through twice and found all you can.
